CINEMA FOR THE DAMNED
Back in the day, cable was the new big thing. Even though my family was lower middle class and barely getting by, somehow we found enough money for cable tv. After waiting all day for the cable company to install, a burly guy drilled holes in the floor and ran wire across the ceiling, then gave us a wired remote about fourteen inches across and six inches wide with white chicklet keys.
We thought it was hilarious to hear profanity on television and to see women's breasts in just about every movie. Before cable, Playboy magazine was the outlet for nude women and jacking off, but cable took things to a whole other level.
LIFEGUARD looked like an interesting movie, but I just watched it for the opening scene where a woman loses her bikini top in the ocean and her tits are exposed. I watched that scene probably fifty times or so and made sure to check the listing so I could catch the nude scene repeatedly.
It was quite a rush at that age and time in history, not like now where boobage is omnipresent and basically free to view. This boobage on cable set into motion my obsession with boobs until this day though back then I was in a boob frenzy.
Maybe some day I will actually watch the movie LIFEGUARD.
Probably not.
