I see the darkness behind the Sun
The Sin behind the golden smile
Heat is just another way to understand cold
Your cries of pain in the black
The sting and burn before throbbing bruise
Never is just always without you
Staring into the light
I remember Winter as Summer begins
Hopelessly yearning for what cannot be
We dance among the waves of yesterday
Drifting further apart
In emptiness I sigh
Holding you
Like the graveyard soil
Embraces a still beating heart

In frigid anonymity
