Witchy Lover
Her lips were a pouting red portal to Hell
Seducing with a whisper and a sigh in the Darkness
I promised this wicked forbidden love my soul
She said she would go with me to the eternal grave
But when she ran off with a werewolf
This story emerged like an undead nightmare lullaby
Here to remain in paper and pen to testify to my loss
Stalking me in my reverie in tears of ecstay and pain
Her olive green skin and cackle as she stirred
The putrid cauldron mix
Eye of salamander, amathyst and dead man's thumb
Made it so I could not resist this witch's tryst
And I lay in her haunted bed of lust many moonlit nights dancing in infernal joy
Beguiled by Satanic ghost caresses and fine wretched curves of desire
I can never forget the heights of pleasure and the abyss of heartbreak
She took my senses and left me with a vision of what could never be
Bewitched by her sensuous charms and that demonic smile
Every Hallow's Eve I remember alone
And when I hear a black cat hiss and run
Ominously across my path
I know the wives' tale is true
That everything a witchy gives she takes before she leaves
It's the message I remember most
Only misery left behind
She returns to gloat with hollow spirit words left in mist that fade and disappear
Like a song that never was stuck in your mind
Or a long toothed alligator watching silent in the reeds
That bites you in a dream.

A Thousand Spiders In A Jar
Her love was like a thousand spiders in a glass jar
Beckoning for my desire with its monstrosity
Legs and jaws intertwined enmeshed in limbo
It seductively called my name
Begging to be free despite the havoc it promised to unleash
Eyes staring in silent supplication
How could I not break the jar and release this evil creature of despair
Watching it scatter about the floor
Clambering up the walls to disappear
Leaving only cobwebs behind
Sometimes in the darkness I see her love woven into a web
And think I hear the call of an evil creature in the night air
Denying it was I who released the spider
I return to bed
An outcast alone
Among the tattered broken ruins
Of this once beautiful world.

Dying For A Kiss
Your lips speak to me of paradise and fluttering butterfly tongues
Of wicked smiles and nights under a full moon
My hands grasp your hips and slip surreptitiously around your thighs
Watching as your eyes close entranced and whisper sweet words of desire
Bodies embrace and pelvis' grind in heat building to a flame
A surge of adrenaline forces me toward your mouth as you bite your lips with sexual hunger

And even Death sighs in vain watching hidden from view in black
Dying in that moment for a kiss like two lovers parted

Braving nonexistence for a feeling of pleasure and pain
Alive and dead frozen in time
Encapsled oblivious in a dream
In defiance of the virus we inhale ecstasy once more
Taunting the Universe as we make love
Again and again

Except For Love
The love cradled within our hearts blinds us to the evil of every lie
Shielding us from the dagger of wicked words and foul deeds
I will always love her for the blind man I am not the hate that creeps through the earth
Cast asunder in a wilderness of malcontents and ill will
I remain to tell the tale
So many years sightless I thought I was protecting her against malevolence
When she sought out the abyss and loved her torturer above all
Even above me
What a fool I was I can see it now
But I still love despite everything
And miss the woman who brought so much pain and destruction
When she could have just walked away
A desert of lost souls remains which even the dumb and blind can see now
Everything ends and comes to dust
Trust is shattered and feelings poisoned
What is left beyond the tears and bitter recriminations
Except for love?
The world is so fucked...
