Music is not SPAM. Music, video, retro nostalgia, poetry and death by eternal love, disco, damnation and comedy among other vampiric and erotic Satanic interludes. Enjoy.

ALBUM OF THE DAY: THE MONKEYS - "20 Smash Hits"
I found this gem in my record box and gave it a good dusting and cleaning. Unfortunately, this record was manufactured in Germany and I cannot find a duplicate on YOUTUBE so I have attached another MONKEES compilation.
Enjoy.

ALBUM OF THE DAY: MIDNIGHT OIL - "Diesel And Dust"
Found another gem in the record box this morning, MIDNIGHT OIL's "Diesel And Dust." Used compressed air to dust it off, but the record needed a cleaning as well to stop the skipping.
Otherwise, a good listen.
Enjoy.

ALBUM OF THE DAY: JAMES TAYLOR - "Sweet Baby James"
Found the record album "Sweet Baby James" this morning, gave it a dusting and a cleaning and popped it into the record player. I remember my family had a stereo with record player that would automatically line up to play the record and return the needle when done as well as allow two records to play back to back. My new record player I have to manually align the needle and sometimes I am a bit off. Otherwise, no worries.
Enjoy.

The Sparkle And Shadows Of Your Gaze
Your eyes are wicked windows to the past
I can see the sadness of when you've climbed and fallen
And the bloody trails of scars upon your soul
Where you have triumphed over fear and walked out unscathed
It is in the sparkle and shadows of your gaze
That attracts them all
People have come and gone and left their outline in a mirror
When you look to see yourself
You see instead people you have plundered
Hot nights of passion in the darkness arise
Ecstasy
Explosive and fleeting
Lost lovers speak to you in memories and vivid screams
You walk the path ahead of the wreckage
Within a crowd of yesterdays
Left behind
Trying to escape the sordid past
That repeats again and again
You can see the excess and lust
Waiting in a new lover's blissful touch
Searching for tomorrow
In a new twisted dream
You fall
In a symphony of blood and pain
But will rise in a sadistic nightmare of the flesh
Ghosts that beckon
That will surely come
And come
Until daylight
Bids farewell.
ALBUM OF THE DAY: THE ALARM: "Declaration"
THE ALARM were known for their politically charged, energetic, deep lyrical music and it just so happens I found their "Declaration" album in the dusty record box.
If this doesn't move you, you probably are spiritually constipated.
Enjoy if you dare.
