In A Song

He could not hold her in his arms
So her remembered her in songs
That way she was even more beautiful in her absence
His despair was a sweet fire that burned in the darkness
Tears could not hinder the conflagration
Or temper his Lust
The music played on despite the pain
While he danced oblivious
A fool in the torrent
Overcome by the ecstasy of a shadow
Lost in the majestic rhythm
Of love's demented erotic tango.
