Poetry In Nothingness
There is a poetry in nothingness
Within the recognition of what used to be
But no longer is
Caressing the longing and the need
Facilitating the bleeding
The tortuous tears that come and abate
Like the tide
Preserving memories in dreams and worthless scrawling
Seeing rhythm and rhyme between relentless pause
Recalling your eyes as we kissed
Caught up in the vortex of the grand abyss
Such is love and life
Hold on while you can.
