The more I think about it, the more I see how music has played such an influential role in my life. Music has helped me through the tough times and has been a gift many have given me through the years often without great understanding as to the benefit being transferred again and again in so many forms. Music has served as a source of strength, a way to open the mind to the diversity of the world and a refuge in moments of sadness. So many people have gifted me their musical preferences and sent me on an individual journey that continues to this day. Often blessings come in strange forms and I now realize and acknowledge music has been a huge blessing and savior in my life.
