GRAVEYARD COFFEEHOUSE - "Giving New Life To Dead Poems"
Where we could meet and spend some time alone in the darkness
Flickering candles guiding the way
A spot light on hungry bodies beading sweat
Digging deeper towards Shangri La
Exhaling visions of lust and benign pain at the tip of our fingertips
Just out of reach, but not beyond possibility
I tasted red wine and Original Sin on your slow, wet, deep kisses
Exuding passion and sensuality with every thrust and grind
You pledged to be mine alone and follow my path
As we cavorted naked until daylight and goodbye
When I looked into your eyes, I saw forever
An ecstasy so intense, our bodies shuddered with every peak of desire
Two fires yielding to conflagration within rumpled sheets
Stained with lipstick, mascara and cum
I held you close in the morning watching you sleep
Awaiting your eyes opening
So we could make love just one more time
Not wanting to waste this succulent dream
Fowling you with my animalistic fierce man love
So you would always be ruined for other men
In memories we are still torrid lovers fighting the world
I cannot let go of such beautiful wicked things
Though I get stung and my flesh bleeds from thorns
You will always be mine in the shadows of yesterday
Deep within my shattered black twisted heart
I still love you buried six feet below
Beyond what words can say
What you will never know remains
Undead
Just like in the beginning...
Coming Big Blue Full Moon
But it never came
As I stood there at 9 pm looking up at the sky
Recalling her kiss and moan
As we made love in a vision of yesterday
Some guy said
Are you looking for the moon?
And I just stared oblivious into darkness
Waiting
Wondering
Caught up in a moment
Where was my big bright blue moon?
I thought
The man said on cue
It was soon to arrive
From over the next apartment roof very soon
But aloof I just walked inside
Shaking my head
I remembered when a full moon meant something
It was just a big blue moon now
Hiding from view
I recalled when I saw a lover's face
In the eerie white glow
It was just a big blue full moon now
So I walked inside with chagrin
Not waiting
For the big blue full moon to appear
I fell asleep and dreamed
Of better things and deeper loves
As the full moon passed overhead
In silence.
