HORROR STORIES

As a child I enjoyed horror stories even though my childhood had elements of the horrific in it. I guess most childhoods do. The most powerful horror stories involve children as they are more able to sense the perceived non reality of evil and the paranormal that adults refuse to acknowledge. It can bring fear and tension to watch a horror movie, but what gives one power is that you can control the experience where in life you cannot always contain evil or the horrific. You can walk away from a movie or turn it off. And if you view a horror movie until the end you either know it is contained with the ending or in limbo waiting for a sequel, it is not haunting YOUR life. Or is it?
