PSYCH WARD SHENANIGANS

One day some men came in my room and announced they were security and I guess checking for contraband or weapons and they removed the mattresses and I thought good, now we will get fresh, new mattresses. Well, they replaced the mattresses with even dirtier, caked in stained mattresses. When I complained to room mate #2, he agreed with my verbal tirade, but added that there was a place even shittier than the hell hole we were in. He said that such a place was called Ancora and it was the State Psychiatric Hospital. My room mate thought that he was bound to go to Ancora which had food worse than even the lousy food we got and the staff would not even break up a fight but just stood by and watched. He said at Ancora THERE WAS ALWAYS SOME ASSHOLE READY TO FIGHT YOU AND IT WAS A FUCKING FREE FOR ALL. Room mate #2 never changed his clothes or took a shower while I was there. He skipped almost all group therapy, lay in bed all day, and sometimes skipped meals. "I am going to Ancora." He would say and I would tell him no way, but for all I know room mate #2 is in Ancora now laying in a mattress with bed bugs and sleeping in his own shit.
