There is an upside to having a shitty life. Think of how shitty things were as a child and youth and the difference now. I used to live in a rented two family house as a child and we had no air conditioning and ate hot dogs and stew for dinner often. We were poor and I had an alcoholic as a parent who beat and abused my mother. I can go on and on how things are so much better. It is not LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS, but definitely not as shitty as growing up. So be thankful for all that misery early in your life you have left in the rear view mirror. Enjoy.
