My dreams
Cry out to me
Supplying within illusion
What reality cannot and will not give
In reverie
I meet you half way
Cavorting within the realm
Between Shangri La and the paradise of the heart
Seeking your majestic kiss like the full moon
To turn back time and relish
In what cannot be
Grasping Fate by the throat
Making it relinquish passion and desire
Choking life from Truth
Long enough to break free
From the ugliness in your stare
Running away to a sequestered room
Making love with furious intensity
To live this erotic vision until first morning light
And tearful goodbye
Opening my eyes
Seeing only ghosts in a splintered mirror
Yesterdays forgot and disinterred
Phantoms with painted faces and garish masks
Trying to deceive as I sleep
In my dreams lies the path to salvation

Everything seemed impossible and possible

Big Blue Full Moon
They said it was coming
But it never came
As I stood there at 9 am
Looking up at the sky
Recalling her kiss and moan
As we made love in a vision of yesterday
Some guy asked
"Are you looking for the moon?"
I just stared oblivious into the darkness
Waiting
Wondering
Caught up in a moment
Thinking
"Where was my big bright blue moon?"
The man said on cue reading my mind
"It will arrive soon from over the next apartment roof."
But aloof, I just walked inside
Shaking my head
Remembering when a full moon meant something
Not just a big blue moon
Hiding from view
I recalled when I saw a lover's face
In its eerie white glow
It was just a big blue moon now
So I walked inside with chagrin
Not waiting
For the big blue moon to appear
I fell asleep and dreamed instead
Of better things and deeper loves
As the big blue full moon passed overhead
In silence.

Cemetery Dreams
In the darkness it all becomes clear
Shining like red candles flickering with the wind
Under a glowing full moon
Moans of ecstasy our symphony of Sin
Drinking in every moment
Blood red wine and rancid honey
Licking memories off silky flesh beading sweat
As you shudder and tense
My manhood pounding you deep and slow
Then hard and fast

Wafting cool air
As I walk

In the beginning
We talked of sequestered rooms
Where we could meet and spend some time alone
In the darkness
Flickering candles guiding the way
A spot light on hungry bodies beading sweat
Digging deeper towards Shangri La
Exhaling visions of Lust and benign pain
At the tip of our fingers
Just out of reach, but not beyond possibility
I tasted red wine and Original Sin
On your slow, wet, deep kisses
Exuding passion and sensuality with every thrust and grind
You pledged to be mine alone and follow my path
As we cavorted until daylight and goodbye
When I looked into your eyes
I saw forever
