Lives Of The Disabled And Mentally Ill Matter

Just as the Black Lives Matter movement has brought focus on reckless policing toward African Americans, so the lives of the disabled and mentally ill are also impacted by excessive police violence even when officers are informed in advance that someone is seeking help and mentally ill.

The lives of the mentally ill matter.  All of us are touched by mental illness in some form from our experience or someone we know.  This is not always a skin color issue but a systemic abuse of power by police and collusion by the judiciary to allow those who have committed crimes and abuse to continue their neglect and wanton aggression upon the community.

It is not a joke when you kill a mentally ill person asking for help.  You should not get a free pass by judges and officials who are afraid to uphold the law and protect the community.
