NEAR DEATH

I was just about to make a left hand turn on a yellow traffic light as the car ahead had stopped. I hit the gas just as another car swerved around the stopped car ahead and came barreling down the road top speed in my direction. If I did not hit the brake, I would have been in a head on collision with a large SUV and would probably be dead. Just to save a few seconds. Those few seconds could be your last. Not this time.
