UNDEAD POETRY

 Sometimes A Kiss Lasts Forever

Sometimes a kiss

Lasts forever

When you look

In her eyes

Drowning in a sea

Of emotion

Lost in a moment

Of sweet repose

You will never forget

The look of her face

Flowing jet black hair

Sound of her voice

Laugh

Eyes rolled upwards

In derision

Watching her mouth

Studying the shape

Flow

Seeming

Infinite

Like the ocean depths

Sinking

Going under

Full lips

Meeting yours

Soft

Wet

Slow

Kisses

Tongues serpentine

Standing oblivious

In the open

As a cool breeze blows

Bringing her

Curvaceous body

Close

To your hard

Muscled frame

Feeling the warmth

Of love

As gasoline

Meets flame

Again and again

In a dream

Within a dream

Like a jewel

Encased in amber

In the shadows

Of a memory

Sometimes

A kiss

Lasts forever

Even after

Love has died

Been buried

Impaled

Crucified

Interred upside down

In a graveyard

Of the heart

Like a fiend

Demon lover

Seeking souls

Blood

Arising

Living like a vampire

In the blackest

Of Nights

Feasting

On illusions

Beautiful lies

What could

Have beens

Drinking crimson wine

Alone

Kissing her

One more time

Feeling the majesty

Of her embrace

Just because

You will always

Love her

And

Sometimes

A kiss

Lasts

Forever.
