A heavy winter storm was supposed to hit last night. First 1 inch was predicted then 2 inches. Then 3 to five inches culminating in a dire prediction of 9 to 12 inches of snow as panic was palpable in the metro area as the masses feared the oncoming weather onslaught.
New Jersey declared a state of emergency, and many ran for the supermarkets to get chips and beer hoping to ride the storm out.
Turns out we got 3 inches of ice, snow and rain. Quite a pathetic sight in the morning.
Last time I trust the weather whorecasters and politicians.
Really.
