CONVERSATIONS WITH LADY MORGANA

In the past, I have not always said complimentary things about LADY MORGANA.   Yes, she is an evil Witch.  She does get under my skin daily.  She is far from perfect, but so am I.  We have had good times over the years as well as many challenges and tragedies.  Indeed, her dead hand love technique borders on the unbearable.  Over the years, we have gone to five marriage counselors including one who was a gay man and they all recommended we divorce.  

 I am the child of divorce and I know the damage divorce causes and the pain of being a child in a toxic, co-dependent relationship.  Sometimes you have to burn the house down to save it.  Other times, you have to sacrifice to save a vulnerable child and put your needs second or third.  Maybe your needs do not get met at all.

Last night was one of the good occasions which started off with upset with a neighbor before heading out to a rare dinner for a charity function.  It was there I realized again that life is not all tragedy and people bent on evil.  Perhaps most of life, but not all.  Connection can nourish strength and give empowerment to seize the day.

I have failed in the past, but failing my child is NOT an option.  MUSIC is the HEALER.  LOVE is the HEALER.  FAITH is the HEALER.  HELPING OTHERS is the HEALER.

And so it goes.

It is time for a new beginning.
