After many years, I have come to realize that I am a colossal bad judge of character. People continually disappoint me as I see in them what I wish to see, not who they really are, though most people erect walls and affect personalities to hide their true selves.
Often people will do their best to get in your good graces before neglecting and maligning you. I once put so much effort in obtaining friendship though I now see relationships as a sham which will leave you continually disaffected and alienated.
If you are to believe in anything, believe in yourself. Believe in the fight. The world can go fuck itself.
