Dying For A Kiss

Your lips speak to me of paradise and fluttering butterfly tongues

Of wicked smiles and nights under a full moon

My hands grasp your hips and slip surreptitiously around your thighs

Watching as your eyes close entranced and whisper sweet words of desire

Bodies embrace and pelvis' grind in heat building to a flame

A surge of adrenaline forces me toward your mouth as you bite your lips with sexual hunger

Mouths tasting the taboo delight in the darkness

And even Death sighs in vain watching hidden from view in black

Dying in that moment for a kiss like two lovers parted

Within our private darkness we meet in a tryst brokered by this twisted world

Moaning with delight as we fall motionless on the rented bed

Braving nonexistence for a feeling of pleasure and pain

Alive and dead frozen in time

Encapsled oblivious in a dream

In defiance of the virus we inhale ecstasy once more

Taunting the Universe as we make love

Again and again

Forever.
