I always loved Halloween and made sure I picked out my costume early and was ready. Apparently my sister totally forgot about Halloween until the morning of the grade school Halloween parade when she fell into a panic about not having a costume and refused to go to school.
My mother calmly went into the bathroom closet and pulled out a blue bed sheet which she cut two eye holes into and gave to my sister who was still in a funk about having to wear such a goofy costume, but my mother sent us off to school and my sister received many compliments on her blue ghost costume thus saving Halloween.
This memory is almost as vivid as the time my sister tried to kick me in the balls. It was that epic.
