Around this time, cable television was becoming popular and my family had their rental house wired from floor to ceiling and given a wired remote the size of a computer keyboard to get cable television and HBO so we could hear curse words, see women's breasts as well as watch bizarre movies like HALLOWEEN, IT'S ALIVE and PHANTASM.
Unlike other families, my family had no restrictions and I watched any thing I wanted to including some movies multiple times to see the nude scenes. It was like a bridge to VHS porn. It was a whole other awakening.
