The Morning Summer Rain

I spent the morning Summer rain
Reminiscing about the bitter Winter snow
How we made love that night like fierce animals
Holding you in my arms close
At daylight
Watching freezing rain and snow flakes cover the ground
Your body so warm against mine and hungry
As the bedroom clock counted down to goodbye
Making love furiously in a race against time
Kissing you slow, soft and wet
After the raging climax of our orgasmic dance
Twisting, turning, swaying
Within rumpled bed linens
Stained with lipstick, mascara, and cum
Not wanting this beautiful dream fraught with lies and betrayal
To ever end
Not like this in the cold air
Looking into your eyes
Seeing that majestic face leaking black rivers
Droplets drifting into virgin snow
Lamenting all the moments we could not have together
Spent alone thirsty for passion
Overcome by desire
Feeling the pain of forever slipping through your fingers
Blown away with the arctic breeze
Wondering what could have been
Gazing outside the window
Into the morning Summer rain.
