The Devil's Tears

It is with the Devil's tears I cry
When I think of us making love
Juxtaposed between Heaven and Hell
I could taste her sighs in every moan
Every forbidden kiss frozen
In a nightmare of a rose and thorn
Bleeding goodbye with every hello
Running greedy fingers serpentine
Down inner thighs to the succulent flower in between
Beading sweat, moon beams, and honey suckle nectar
On my thirsty tongue
Sticky sweet like exotic fruit passed by a lover's lips
Skin on skin we slithered unrepentant closer to oblivion
Feasting on beautiful lies while blinded to ugly truths
Sublime ecstasy in heart beats colliding
Thrusting deep then shallow as she closed her eyes
Then walked away
Time standing still in a lullaby
A day dream gone mad
Cursing reality for getting in the way of a majestic romance
Carnal taboo delights lost in the mist
Like a phantom to day light
Damned for eternity
Overcome by her eyes forever
I drown
Alone.
